The collection, housed in the Palazzo Fulgenzio (16th century), includes around one hundred paintings of considerable artistic interest, dating from the 16th to the 19th centuries, belonging to the schools of Luca Giordano and Solimena.
The paintings belonged to the Franciscan convents of Puglia.

On the first floor, it is also possible to visit the permanent exhibition of Father Raffaello Pantaloni (a collection of sketches, drawings, photographs, etc.), a Franciscan friar invited to Lecce in the 1930s to create the frescoes of the parish of Sant'Antonio a Fulgenzio.
Also in the same building, the Ninfeo definitely deserves a visit.
