Even if already existing in the ninth century, the church you can see is a result of a restructuring of the thirteenth century. It has been built with bricks, it has a single nave and the lower part of the facade is in white limestone.
In the upper part of the facade are inserted ceramic basins of the thirteenth century. The two lions that adorn the capitals of the jamb of the central portal belong to a workshop of stonecutters that reproduce decorative motifs taken from footage released by the master Guidetto between the twelfth and thirteenth centuries.
The interiors were completely redesigned in the late sixteenth century. The trussed roof was replaced by a barrel vault and new paintings were prepared for the altars.
Closed for worship, is home to youth clubs.
