Paper maché, an unusual and ancient material, full of charm and possibilities, constitutes the starting point of the research carried out by Gianni de Carlo and Pinuccia Petruzzelli for Artefare. The two artists, heirs to the cultural tradition of the city where this craftsmanship has been peculiar since the 17th century, propose unusual and original objects not present in the production of the territory. The uniqueness is conferred by the design, the added value by chromaticity and thicknesses; the gaze is directed towards nature: sea urchins, shells, reeds, leaves... The ideas, transformed into projects, interpret lamps, trays, tapestries, other furnishing objects and, lastly, refined jewelry.
