Built in the second half of the sixteenth century with squared exposed stone, it consists of two pools fed by two different sources, evidence of which dates back to the tenth and eleventh centuries. The main pool has large vaults, resting on a pillar situated in the middle of the cistern, with a capacity of 400 m2. It provided water to the population until the last years of the nineteenth century, and was subsequently used as a wash-house until 1850.
