The existence of this butcher shop is documented back to the late 19th century, and only the surname of its founder is known. The property includes two rooms carved into the tuff with a thatched roof and a cross engraved on one of the walls. These rooms are quite spacious and extend under Piazza Indipendenza. They were originally used to keep the meat cool. There is also a connection to the underground cellars.
