Housed within the historic Borsari building in Parma, built in 1870, is the Borsari 1870 Collection. The first Italian Museum of perfumery, it presents a delightful and refined historical retrospective of the famous Parma Violet fragrance and the graphic journey of a company that has transcended time and fashion. Legend has it that the Parma Violet was the favorite fragrance of the Duchess of Parma, Maria Luigia of Austria. The museum, divided into two sections, chronicles the story of Borsari, its products, and the graphic designs that adorned the Parma fragrance.
