Piazza Giulio Cesare is a square in Palermo located just outside the historic center. The square was built in 1886 along with the new Palermo Centrale Station which faces it, the square is also the beginning of Via Roma.
In the center of it there is an equestrian statue depicting Vittorio Emanuele II contemporary with the square, the statue is located in the center of a small green area. On the front of Via Roma there is the monumental entrance built between 1924 and 1936.
