Attached to the church of St. Paulinus, at the right arm of the transept, it is mentioned in 1048 as St. Peter in Chains, and in the fourteenth century was the seat of the Brotherhood of silk spinners.
The current appearance is the result of a restructuring of the sixteenth century.
Interior decorations are dated between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
In recent years it has been used as a Ukrainian Orthodox chapel.
