The church is located in the neighborhood of San Pancrazio, a wealthy district inhabited by merchants. Rebuilt in the 15th century and renovated in the 18th century, it features a pointed arch portal that belongs to the ancient medieval facade. The interior is simple, with a single nave and 5 chapels on each side. It preserves works by Moroni, Cavagna, and Salmeggia. A graceful fountain designed in 1549 by Leonardo Isabello adorns the small square in front of it.
