The Savona Seminary is located in the Villetta district, on the hill immediately behind the city center.
The building was erected in the second half of the 19th century in a panoramic and peaceful location, at the time still not surrounded by residential buildings. The building consists of a main body that develops around the central cloister adorned with Neo-Romanesque columns, and four wings that extend outward, two on the east side and two on the west side. The structure is surrounded on the north and east sides by a large park.
Inside there is a library consisting mainly of theological and religious texts, and a picture gallery open to the public that preserves a considerable number of paintings of some artistic interest.
