The Oratory of the Beghini is a deconsecrated and abandoned religious building located in the heart of the medieval center of Savona.
The oratory consists of a single nave with a barrel vault and a square presbytery. It was the seat of the Confraternity of the Nativity of Mary Most Holy. Built in the 17th century, it was later suffocated by the construction of other buildings, particularly during the 19th century. Deconsecrated and abandoned for decades, it is in precarious condition. Inside, the cornice and part of the stucco decoration along the walls survive, particularly in the presbytery.
The oratory, recently purchased by a private individual, in May 2015 saw the green light for the recovery of the dilapidated structure and its transformation into a restaurant.
