In addition to the aristocratic family, Palazzo Cornazzani was home to the poet Ugo Foscolo (between 1808 and 1809, when he was teaching at the University of Pavia), the Saint Contardo Ferrini, the poet Ada Negri and the scientist Albert Einstein. It has an elegant porticoed courtyard in late Gothic-Renaissance style and a small loggia supported by brick pilasters. On the external wall of the building it is possible to admire a terracotta plaque of the Nativity.
