The Music Stand is a 19th-century monument in Palermo located in Piazza Castelnuovo. The building was erected in 1875 by the Florio family to prevent the square from being used for residential construction, as the family owned a villa on the same square.
The building is entirely constructed of white marble and evokes the Neoclassical and Renaissance motifs popular during the period. On the base, there are Corinthian columns that support a trabeation decorated with palm leaves.
