Since 1963, Lane nuove is synonymous with quality wools and yarns in Padua. The shop, started in Piazza della Frutta by the Bigliardi family, has been recently moved to Piazza dei Signori, where it is managed by Cristina Pallaro and Annamaria Minozzi, supported by Marina, historic shop assistant standing at the counter. Their competence serves a heterogeneous clientele: indeed, not only middle-aged and olders are interested in yarns and embroidery, as also among the younger this.
Fine quality wools, cashmere and merino, including English Rowan yarns sold in exclusive, and also cotton yarns and skeins for knitting, make up the offer of Lane nuove, although the shop also provides every kind of tissue for embroidery: from baby bibs and baby bags to household linen such as towels and aprons.
