On the right side of Piazza Unione Europea, there is the War Memorial of the First World War. It was designed by G. Nicolini and constructed in 1936. In 1950 a plaque was added to commemorate the fallen of the Second World War. On a marble base, the bronze statue represents an infantryman, a sailor and an airman. On the stele, there are two eagles, while, at the both sides of the base, two winged victories guide infantrymen and knights to the battle.
