It was built between 1704 and 1714 on a drawing by Giovan Battista Foggini and, in consequence of the damage undergone during the Second World War, it was amply restored. It consists of a single vaulted space and it develops in chapels. It has a cupola supported by compound order pillars. Inside there are several stuccos, marbles and sculptures.
A series of works by the sculptor from Carrara Giovanni Baratta are very valuable, as the sculptures of "Saint Ludovico king of France", "Saint Edward king of England", "Saint Henry king of Germany" and "Saint Ferdinand king of Castile", the oval relieves representing "Hope", "Faith", "Justice", "Temperance", "Prudence" and "Fortitude" and the marbles representing an "Angel freeing two slaves".
