About this tour
We will set sail from the port of Castro Marina and immediately immerse ourselves in the magic of the Salento coast, exploring up close the Palombara Cave and the Rotundella Cave, carved into the limestone over millennia of history.
We'll continue to the Blue Grotto, where the water changes color – from deep blue to emerald green – depending on the light filtering through the opening, and then to the famous Zinzulusa Cave, with its unmistakable stalactites hanging from the ceiling like ancient stone guardians.
The tour continues with a stop at the mysterious Grotta delle Striare, steeped in legend and local history.
We will then reach the stunning Porto Miggiano Bay, one of the most beautiful inlets in Salento. Here, we will stop for about 15 minutes for a well-deserved dip in the crystal-clear waters. Shortly after, we will sail along Santa Cesarea Terme, where we can admire the majestic Villa Sticchi, a symbol of the city, from the sea.
We will then set sail for Castro, relaxing on board while the panorama of the coast accompanies us back to the harbor of departure. A 2-hour experience in contact with the sea and the most authentic history of Salento.
