How to get to Taormina
There are regular buses to and from Messina and Catania. The express bus fare from the bus station of Catania costs about 3.70 euro. The bus from Catania Airport to Taormina bus station (Via Luigi Pirandello) costs about 7.90 euro per person.
By train
From Catania central station to the station of Taormina-Giardini it takes about one hour. Arriving at the station of Giardini-Taormina, to reach Taormina city center you need however to take a bus or a taxi. A taxi from the train station to the center of Taormina costs about 10 euros.
