About this tour
This Polignano a Mare boat trip sails aboard the Dorino from the lively harbour, with a friendly crew and a guide on board. The first part of the route goes into the sea caves, the grotte shaped by centuries of waves, where sunlight turns the water inside a turquoise colour. The sights include Grotta Palazzese, Grotta Ardito, the Cave of the Nuns and the Cave of Pigeons.
Afterwards the boat anchors in a calm spot so you can swim, float or simply sit in the sun. A snorkelling mask is included for the water. If you prefer to stay aboard, the view of the cliffs and their whitewashed houses is a good backdrop for photos.
Back on board comes a chilled glass of Prosecco with taralli, the savoury ring-shaped crackers of Apulia. While the boat heads back, the crew shares facts about the region.
