One of the most important museums in Italy, essential for the study of 14th to 18th century art history.
An extraordinary collection of works by the greatest exponents of Venetian painting, including Giorgione, G. Bellini, Carpaccio, and J. Tintoretto to name but a few. The gallery premises were formerly owned by the Confraternity of St Mary of Charity and it was one of the six great guildhalls of Venice.

Opening hours:
Monday 8.15am - 2pm, from Tuesday to Sunday 8.15am - 7.15pm. From 9 July 2014, every Friday evening open 8pm-10pm (last admission at 9.15pm). Last entrance 45 minutes before closing time. Closed 1 January, 1 May, 25 December.

9 euro.
Reduced price: 6 euro, available for E.U. citizens aged from 18 to 25. E.U. citizens free under 18 and over 65 years. Citizen from other countries: free for under 12 years.
