How to get to Aquileia

By bus
 
Aquileia is served from SAF bus service with daily connections on the route Udine-Palmanova-Cervignana-Aquileia-Grado. See the company's website to check the timetable.
By train
 
The nearest train station to the city (is 7km) is Cervignano-Aquileia-Grado. From the station there is an active coach service to reach the historic center.
By car
 
From the motorway A4 Venice-Trieste and A23 Tarvisio-Udine, exit at Palmanova and proceed for 17km on State Road 352 and following the signs Aquileia.

The city of Aquileia offers the opportunity to buy one ticket to visit all the monuments (National Archaeological Museum, Crypt of the Basilica, Bell Tower, the Baptistery and Süd Halle). The ticket, valid for 15 days, costs €9 at full price and reduced €7 for groups of minimum 15 people. For anyone who is doing a tour of Friuli Venezia Giulia, it is also recommend the FVG CARD, a nominative card purchasable at local tourist offices, the “pro-loco” of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Infopoints, travel agencies and many hotels, which allows you to free entry into regional structures and in those affiliated and get special discounts on the price of tickets for attractions and events. The FVG CARD is available in three versions: €15 for a duration of 48 hours (the validity is counted from the moment of first use), €20 for 72 hours, €29 for a whole week.
