Ottica Fin Umberto was founded on November 11, 1937 by Mr. Umberto Fin from which it takes name. Located under the arches of the Palladian Basilica, in Piazza dei Signori, over the years it bought neighboring activities and increased the space available, up to the present day in which he exposes their own articles on three large windows and tripled the area of the initial sale, optimizing space for the laboratory for mounting lenses and for the study where they perform visual analysis and application of contact lenses.
Business owners are today dr. Sergio Gieri, who in 1975 had supported Mr. Umberto in managing the company, and his wife Marisa Fin, daughter of Umberto, assisted by their son Alberto who runs the second store opened in Via Zanardelli in 2005.
The main activity is optics, with a vast assortment of frames and sunglasses from the top brands: Armani, Bulgari, Carrera, Christian Dior, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Lozza Luxottica , Persol , Prada, Prada Sport, Police, Ray Ban, Revo, Safilo, Serengeti, Tiffany, Versace, Vogue.
