The Chamber of Commerce of Bari was founded in 1849 under the reign of Ferdinand II as the "Consultative Chamber of Commerce." After the unification of Italy became the "Chamber of Commerce and Arts" and in 1910 ranged further in "Chamber of Commerce and Industry" to become, after fascism and the Second World War, "Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture." In 1966, finally assumed its current name.
