The shop, which moved from Banchi di Sopra to via Cecco Angiolieri and then to via Pantaneto, was taken over by the current owners in 1968. It started out as a supplier of embroidery for home delivery on order. They made banners and supplied yarn for the contrade (districts). Until not so long ago, the shop's workshop also served the army, producing embroidered badges, shoulder boards with campaign details, and trouser stripe borders. Some samples of these supplies are still jealously kept by the owner.
