The Logge del Papa are located next to the church of San Martino. Built in 1462 by the Sienese architect Antonio Federighi, they were commissioned by Pope Pius II (a native of Corsignano, now Pienza, near Siena), who donated them to his Piccolomini family, from which he himself came and which owned the adjacent palace.

The Logge del Papa feature a travertine facade with three Renaissance arches supported by Corinthian capitals.

The arches are surmounted by an architrave bearing the Latin inscription "PIUS II PONT MAX GENTILIBVS SVIS PICCOLOMINEIS" (Pius II, Supreme Pontiff, to his Piccolomini relatives) and a brick attic.
