The Church of Santa Maria Giuseppa Rossello is a modern religious building located in the Villetta neighborhood of Savona, near the episcopal seminary.
The church was built in the second half of the 20th century to meet the needs of the growing population of the Villetta residential district, which was undergoing rapid urban expansion. The building has a simple structure, but it is very bright and welcoming. It is a single rectangular space with a simple stone altar in the presbytery, featuring a crucifix on the back wall.
The bell tower is attached to the right side, and the baptistery is located in its base. Behind the church runs the ancient road connecting Savona to the hinterland, which leads to the Certosa di Loreto in just a few minutes. On the other side of the road, a stone wall hides the gardens of the nearby Capuchin convent from view.
