The museum - divided into two rooms - is located in a medieval building, formerly the seat of the 'Council of the Twelve' Order of St. Stephen. The collections include a model of a galley of the Stefaniana Navy, numerous coats of arms of boats of the XVI - XVII centuries, nautical instruments, some reports of sea captains, bladed weapons in support of the Knights uniform and ceremonial uniforms, paintings, prints and banners. This small heritage joins the relics preserved in the National Church of the Knights of St. Stephen, full of witnesses, including the standard lifted on the flagship of Ali Pascià in the Battle of Lepanto (7 October 1571), the lights of the Turkish ships in gilded copper and three large fragments of Tuscan galley, richly carved by Santi Santuccio, said the 'Santino' (XVIII century).
