Built in the second half of the 18th century, it has a Greek cross plan and typically Baroque lines. The façade is made of terracotta and animated in accordance with Baroque taste.
Inside, a large central dome allows abundant light to filter in. Once, next to the ancient medieval church (which was not this 18th-century one), there was a hospital-hospice for pilgrims, which was later transformed into a convent.
