Built in the first half of the 19th century on Via Lincoln by the Barons of Verbumcaudo, in 1921 it became the residence of the Jung family, three Jewish brothers who arrived from Milan at the beginning of the 19th century to establish a large business in the city exporting dried fruit, essences, citrus fruits and sumac.
Acquired by the Province of Palermo in 1959, it underwent a restoration project covering a total area of approximately 6,000 square meters, spread over the ground floor, first and second floors, plus a series of mezzanines and, of course, the beautiful garden.
The structure has strong neoclassical features, like many contemporary buildings in the city of Palermo, which are particularly noticeable on the entrance pediment with its thin columns and the style of the balconies.
Today, the palace hosts temporary exhibitions and events.
