The Fountain of the Sea Horse is an 18th-century fountain located in Piazza Santo Spirito in Palermo. The fountain was designed by the sculptor Ignazio Marabitti. Its original location was within the garden of the Ajutamicristo Palace.
In 1864, during the restoration work on Piazza Santo Spirito, the municipality of Palermo decided to relocate it to its current position, where the church of San Nicolò alla Kalsa, destroyed by the earthquake of March 5, 1823, once stood.
