An initial church built in 1290 was rebuilt between 1835 and 1839 based on a design by Antoli, following a neoclassical model in the Napoleonic style. Inside are two paintings: a 16th-century Martyrdom of Saint Bartholomew and a Martyrdom of Saint Lawrence.
