It carried water from source of Monte Pacciano to the Fontana Maggiore and is also known as Arco della Via Appia, the famous suspended street of Perugia, which connects via del Fagiano and via Benedetta. Known as via Archi dei Condotti, it runs above the arches of the medieval acquedeuct and from 1821 it was equipped with side parapets, acting as a gallery of access to the upper floors of the houses that face the street.
