Built in 1660 on a pre-existing medieval church, it is home to important paintings and Baroque furnishings. The vault was frescoed by Jacopo Antonio Manini, who also carried out the architectural frame and foreshortened decoration. Heavily restored in 1838, the paintings represent episodes from the life of Saint Francis of Paola, founder of the Padri Minimi order, which managed the church and adjoining convent until its closure in 1796.
