Explore the Montagna Spaccata and the Quattro Colonne by kayak, admiring the wild landscapes of Salento, for 2 hours of adventure and fun paddling along the coast alongside a guide.
Climb aboard and get ready to paddle along the Gallipoli coastline to admire the Montagna Spaccata, a rocky stretch of the coast that houses a small cave, and the Quattro Colonne from the sea. A fun 2-hour adventure with a guide to experience Salento in a different way!
The meeting point is 15 minutes before the indicated time in Gallipoli, in the Conchiglie-Alto Lido (LE) area, at the slipway of the dock.
The guide will welcome you with a brief presentation of the tour and provide all the necessary gear: kayak, paddle and life jacket. We will start with a briefing of about 20 minutes, during which the basics of paddling will be explained.
Once on board the kayaks, you will start paddling at a relaxed pace. If sea conditions permit, we will head towards the Quattro Colonne and the Montagna Spaccata, a rocky stretch of the Salento coast with a small grotto that can be admired from the kayak. Alternatively, you can head in the opposite direction towards Gallipoli, paddling among sand dunes and stretches of wild vegetation that alternate with quiet coves.
There will be: a trip offshore to experience the thrill of being surrounded only by blue, a short stop near a cove for a refreshing swim, a dip, and, why not, some snorkeling (masks are available!).
During the tour, we will also take care of the surrounding nature by collecting and bringing back to shore any waste found in the sea.
The tour will conclude with a return to the starting point, after covering a route of approximately 4.5 km. The total duration of the activity is 2 hours, including the initial briefing.
