The Classic visit and food tasting experience is an educational route designed for those who want to learn about the history and tradition of Acetaia Marchi, a producer of Balsamic Vinegar since 1910, through an engaging and authentic guided visit.
From the harvest of our prized grapes to the ancient family barrels, we will take you on a sensory journey to discover the "Black Gold" of Modena and its different expressions, with food tastings that tell the story of the passion, experience and knowledge passed down through generations.
The visit begins in the family vineyards, where the production route of our Balsamic Vinegar takes shape, starting with selected, top-quality raw materials.
It then continues inside the acetaia, in the rooms dedicated to the aging of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP, where our excellent products slowly mature in barrels made of quality wood. Here the guide will explain the fundamental stages of production, revealing the secrets of the authentic Black Gold of Modena.
The experience ends with an extensive guided food tasting of the different varieties of Balsamic Vinegar, to appreciate the nuances, aromas, and distinctive characteristics of each product. Practical advice and suggestions for use in the kitchen will also be provided, to make the best use of each type of Balsamic Vinegar in pairings and culinary preparations.
