Built for will of Andrea Malatesta around 1400 and named 'Inferiore', and then 'Maggiore'. The monuments of the square are the Town-hall, the Rocchetta di Piazza and the Masini Fountain. It hosts the ambulant market (every Wednesday and Saturday morning) and the core of the Fair of San Giovanni (in June).
