Our day begins at 8:30 am at the "Terrazza dell'Etna" bar and restaurant, situated at an altitude of 2000 meters. Here, our expert volcanological and alpine guide will brief us on the day's exciting journey ahead. We'll then take the cable car (€50 round-trip, not included) to ascend to 2500 meters above sea level. As we trek to 3000 meters, we'll traverse vast expanses of volcanic sand and navigate through ancient and recent lava flows, a thrilling experience like no other. The scenery that unfolds at the base of the Summit Craters is simply mesmerizing, offering a unique perspective on the grandeur of this mighty volcano. After taking in the awe-inspiring views, we'll begin our descent to 2500 meters, pausing for a lunch break (not included) and a visit to the 2001 crater, which still emits fumes at an altitude of 2700 meters. Finally, we'll make our way back to the starting point, bringing an exhilarating day of adventure to a close.
