Join me on a leisurely cycling adventure along the picturesque rural roads of Apulia's stunning Adriatic coast. We'll pedal 30 km (18 miles) through olive groves and scenic coastal routes, exploring hidden gems and savoring local flavors. We'll start in Monopoli, a vibrant town bursting with life, where we'll explore the ancient village and its charming castle on the pier. Next, we'll make our way to Savelletri, a popular seaside resort famous for its breathtaking beaches. Here, we'll indulge in a delicious stop at a traditional delicatessen, where the passionate host, Minguccio, will spoil us with his gourmet creations, blending regional ingredients with a touch of innovation, paired with a glass of fine wine. Please note that riders must be at least 163 cm tall to participate in this bike tour. Later, we'll visit Mrs. Cosma's ice cream shop to sample her mouthwatering treats, served in traditional waffle baskets. As we make our way back to Monopoli, we'll stop to pick seasonal fruits directly from the trees, including figs, flowers, pears, blackberries, and mulberries. Our adventure concludes with a taste of Apulian rosoli, a sweet and tangy delight.
