Our journey begins at Molo Audace, where the breathtaking panorama of Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia unfolds before your eyes. From there, we'll embark on a gentle climb up Colle di San Giusto, stopping to admire the stunning Romanesque architecture of San Silvestro Church and the opulent Baroque beauty of Santa Maria Maggiore. Following in the footsteps of ancient Romans, we'll pass through the ancient city gates, Arco di Riccardo, and reach the hill's summit, where the vista stretches out over the shimmering sea and the rugged Karst landscape. As we gaze upon the majestic Castle of San Giusto and the adjacent cathedral, you'll catch glimpses of the ancient Roman basilica ruins and the tranquil Lapidary Garden. Next, we'll make our way downhill, eventually arriving at the ancient Roman Theater. Our path will then lead us to the picturesque Grand Canal, the vibrant heart of Borgo Teresiano, where we'll discover the grand Sant'Antonio Taumaturgo church and the dazzling Serbian Orthodox Church of San Spiridione. The canal is lined with elegant neoclassical buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries, a true architectural gem. Our stroll will conclude at Piazza della Borsa, where we'll pay a visit to the bronze statue of James Joyce on the Red Bridge. Here, you'll be surrounded by an array of architectural styles, including Baroque, Art Nouveau, and Rationalist Italian buildings, and even a unique sundial.
