The construction of Palazzo Pomarici presumably dates back to the sixteenth century. Spread over three levels and over a large area, even today, for its impressive size, it is called "The Hundred Rooms Palace."
The Palace is located at the edge of the "Civita" ( the first urban nucleus), and houses the MUSMA (Museum of Contemporary Sculpture of Matera).
