Perhaps it is the oldest building in Altamura, and certainly among the most characteristic. Probably built in the fifteenth century, is adjacent to the medieval walls, nearby Porta Bari. It spreads over three floors, occupying an entire block. The Renaissance door overlooks avenue Federico II; the inner courtyard is graced by a grand staircase and the floor is paved with limestone. The Renaissance porch has elegant columns and capitals, and in one of these is represented the coat of arms of de Angelis family.
