The "The Historical Diving Society, Italia" has inaugurated a museum in Marina di Ravenna, housed in premises provided by the Municipal Administration. Its purpose is to promote the study of the history of underwater activities, including through temporary exhibitions, conferences, and the publication of educational materials. The various sections feature prints from the 18th and 19th centuries, dioramas, one of the first Italian decompression chambers, diving and underwater equipment, work materials, and underwater photography equipment. One area is dedicated to the navy and the underwater assault vehicle used in the last World War, known as the "maiale." The museum also houses the original plaster cast of the statue submerged in the waters of San Fruttuoso in Liguria, depicting the Christ of the Abyss, a work by sculptor Guido Galletti.
