The cave church of St. Nicholas of the Greeks is one of the oldest in the city. From an architectural point of view it shows a central pillar at the choir entrance, with two aisles with apses communicating with each other. It is accessed via three descendants steps.
The altar is housed in an apse, with a side dock in the front. You can admire the frescoes of St. Nicholas, St. Barbara, St. Pantaleon, the £Madonna and Child, St. Francis of Assisi, the Crucifixion, St. Peter Martyr and St. Anthony Abbot and some palimpsests.
Lot of tombs of the medieval period have been discovered in the church and its surroundings.The rocky areas nearby have also been used as a dwelling until the '60s of the last century.
