We begin in one of Italy’s "Borghi più belli" (most beautiful villages). High atop a limestone ridge sits the Pieve di San Giorgio, an 8th-century Romanesque church.
The Highlight: Wander through the ancient cloister and soak in the "postcard-perfect" panoramic views stretching from the mountains all the way back to Lake Garda.
