Just so you know, Mount Etna isn't just any mountain – it's a fiery giant! As Europe's tallest active volcano, towering at 3,350 meters (nearly 11,000 feet), it's a sight to behold. And it's been putting on a show for ages, practically erupting non-stop since its birth around half a million years ago! Reaching the highest point permitted, prepare for a breathtaking spectacle: a glorious sunset painting the volcano, the dramatic Valley of the Bove, and the entire landscape in vibrant hues. As dusk settles, we'll descend by jeep back to 1,800 meters, where a delicious dinner (at your own expense) at a local restaurant awaits, providing the perfect end to an epic day.
