The Pasticceria Estense is a true milestone of Venetian and Italian pastry tradition, since Egidio Luni, father of Master Paolo, moved his passion for the art of pastry from Este to Padua, in 1959. In the laboratory of Via Forcellini, quality and authentic excellence gained immediate acclaim, so as to be recognized and repeatedly awarded by national and international authorities. Today, in the Estense labo- ratories, tradition and modernity coexist harmoniously as well as the whole Luni family, from cavaliere Paolo Luni to his son Francesco. The best ingredients are selected, processed, mixed with mastery, to give form to an incredible range of products, ready to delight the most gluttonous customer. Thanks to the sweetest blend of tradition and innovation, the atmosphere you breathe at Pasticceria Estense, which since 2006 has added a cafe corner where one can enjoy a relaxing stop over, is not very different from that of the handicraft workshop of 1959. Love for tradition and genuine excellence inspired Master Paolo Luni to start a second laboratory in 1999, the Biscottificio Estense, a small temple of taste and tradition destined only to the production of typical Venetian confectionery products (Zaleti, Pazientini, Amaretti, Pevarini, Buranelli, etc.) made in accordance with the Luni family's secret recipes.
