Annexed to the Church of St. Francis, this was once the St. Francis convent. Today this building is the Metropolitan Seminary. The first building was erected in the second half of the XIII century. The current building was built in 1699. Of particular note is the XVII century rectangular cloister surrounded by Doric columns. In the centre of the cloister there is a marble statue of the Immaculate Conception.
