The Milan of times past: customs, celebrations, and the events that took place in the city. All this and much more can be explored in the print collection, initiated in 1800 by Achille Bertarelli and donated in 1925 to the community. Today it comprises over a million works, ranging from antique woodcuts to contemporary graphic design.
There are over 15.000 prints with historical, religious and popular themes. Plus antique calendars, advertising posters, postcards, maps and portraits. The collection is still named after its founder. It can be visited free of charge in its premises inside Castello Sforzesco.
