In the heart of Murat, at the corner of via Sparano and via Putignani, in 1923 Aldo Forcignanò elaborated a spectacular project of corner building, which still has clear commercial purposes. The facade is a jumble of columns, rusticated pilasters, Ionic capitals and masks among which the many windows develop. The interiors, rich Liberty decorations, are dominated by a grand staircase and are illuminated by the glass dome that dominates the building. Still owned by the Mincuzzi family, the building is leased to the mega store brand Benetton since 2002.
