The Church of San Marco dei Veneziani was erected to thank the Venetians who, led by the Doge Pietro Orseolo II, liberated Bari by the Saracens in 1002. The Church today is different from the original one, destroyed during the incursions of William the Malo. The façade is characterized by a rosette; the interior includes one room and the sacristy.
